Sorry, wasn't sure where to post this, but thought it might be of interest.
I know its a bit macabre but the faults according to the investigation into this African 707 are quite staggering. How dare the pilots even get into it with such obvious engine faults? Thankfully, standards in North America and Europe are entirely different, but you really do have to feel for those African and 3rd world pilots.

What a dangerous but profitable profession gun-running must have been.
Fortunate that pilots are prepared to fly those death-traps, magnificent birds though they are.
