    QANTAS PB2B-2 Canso/Catalina

I just finished this one, built from the Academy PBY-5A, I converted it to a PB2B-2 with the Red Roo PB2B-2 conversion. Decals are from Hawkeye.

Additional work (not mentioned in the conversion set) was to add additional pax windows in the fuselage made from pieces of CD case clear plastic. I also used photo etch prop blades from PropBlur.

Decals are from Hawkeye Models Australia.

The base was an old picture frame and the water is painted wall plaster.

    That's fabulous.

Terrific to see a CAT in a QANTAS scheme.
