Not the point I was making or what he was asking, it is metal, not plastic

Would be better if they had it made out of aluminium.
    I prefer heavy metal

Actually, not noticeable all sitting on the shelf, very nice looking model all around

I love this one and the 707.
But for some reason was expecting bolder or larger titles????

This scheme is so gorgeous compared to the new scheme....
Well, I am a retro guy in ALL my hobbies....

    Yep!
I think I have the 747 stuck in my brain.
As I recall it has a unique font style that is a bit blockier.

What a cool collection to have in 1/200th.
    727, 707.....Caravelle!
Did someone make a diecast 747 in this scheme yet?

    Most excellent!

I can't resist any longer. I must have that big 707 even if they ARE more expensive than a regular issue IF200 and probably not available any more.

Getting hard to get indeed. I got the Cargo version myself and also do not regret.

The Hogan A300 is really good although it is plastic diecast:

Another must is the Constellation (also Hogan but metal diecast this time):

Now I wish somebody makes a 747. Hopefully Hogan or GJ will do it (would be cheaper than Inflight).

You need to keep the picture size to 750 pixels wide or smaller on this forum....

Scroll bars off the page are aggravating for viewers

Lovely collection Todd (apart from the Concorde which is an abomination, but then again I always did prefer Coke to Pepsi ) I love the classic Air France livery. Sure beats what they are putting on their A380s. Mind you, if they did a retro A380 they would need two cheatlines

I can't decide which is sexier...the 727 or the Caravelle. Beautiful models, and excellent photos.
    Gemini Jets...PLEASE make a 1/200 North Central CV440 (1966 livery) to go with the CV580 and DC-9-30!

(My laptop is 14.1" and viewing such pic is very easy, no problemo )

Limiting the size of pics to less than this will seriously jeopardize the utility of sharing pics on this forum.

But this is just my opinion of course...
Actually, you are correct, 40% of computer users are at 1024 (like me) and in a forum setting with side bars, 750 wide pictures fill the screen as your entire screen is only 1024 wide.

When I view this forum (at 1024 resolution as the majority does) I have a scroll bar on any picture over 750 wide. So, 1024 wide picture is really annoying.

Here is the resolution percentages used currently (will change with time but...)
