Very nice, so it is true that this one does not have a black nose. Why would GJ show one with a black nose on their website? Now I'm gonna have to find one of these!

No black nose! I love the GJ version, looks very accurate to me.
I have flown on these several times between Kansas City and Chicago!

Well, I got the Jet-X with black nose as it came with the current tail. I'm going to need the GJ version as I was a regular on AA Super 80s for a good three years on either the Dayton-Dallas-Orange County or Dayton-Dallas-LAX route. It was the government's contract carrier during that time for getting to So Cal from Dayton.

Interesting that both Jet-X and GJ versions are supposedly made using the same mould, but the GJ version has more details on it. Is that how Jet-X cuts costs and increases profit?

Who's got a GJ version up for sale?????

The moulds are different. You will see when you get the Gemini the noticeable differences.

The Gemini nose is a little off (looks flattened out at the radome/fuselage floor line section), but still quite a remarkably good looking casting overall. The Jet-X version has the wrong tail of course so it would be hard to see sitting on my hardstand with the others.

Great looking aircraft. Now if GJ would only make its "little brother" in 1:400.

Good to see that yours doesnt have the rip in the wings like mine had when it came. There is a looong thread with complaints of fellow collectors which had similar issues with their models.!
