    More great photos Sal, moving away from aircraft for a second, those servisair steps look wicked. We sure could do with repainting our steps in these colours.

    Great photos. The golden days were an interesting and exciting time to fly. Too bad we can not turn the clock back to the simpler times. We do remember them through our collections and dioramas of yesteryear.

    All those DC-8s were operating thru PIK at the time too (cept the -72). I really miss those long long take off runs.

    Sal, gotta hand it to ya buddy! You've come up with many photos of the DC-8 I've never seen before! Awesome stuff

    That Worldways Canada beast looks nice! I'd like one in 400th, but hope Bob/Don can churn one out in 200th scale also! It won't sell many probably, but then again...the odd ones can find their niche!
    The DC-8 is the best commercial supersonic aircraft ever built!
    OK, so it was only one flight, for a short time, and in a shallow dive. It still counts!

    Proud to be a honorary Australian citizen.
