There's some really great pictures on here, so I think I shall contribute. Being a young'un in aviation, the extent of my "Golden Days" is around 2000 onward, but seeing as photography at age 5 wasn't my strong suit, images were few and far. I did find this one, of an Air Canada A320 at YYZ sometime 2000-2005. I also had an image of a 767 at the next gate, need to find it though.

Now that is an amazing photo, still trying to figure out how this person took that shot. Thanks a lot for posting.

Well Thanks for looking at it. Nobody usually ever takes a look at the large version of what I post not knowing that I posted it there because it's for an extraordinary reason.

Like looking out the window and you are there!!

Amazing historical photos, and most of it are not typical boring spotter photos. They are really art.

I will be updating this thread little by little as i com across new and very interesting images like this one.

1955 - San Francisco Airport soon after new terminal opened. Two TWA Lockheed Constellations with two Pan American Boeing 377 Stratocruisers beyond. Original San Mateo Bridge faintly visible on right horizon. Thanks to Bill E. for this remarkable image.

Sal, I recall (do not know how accurately) a story about that barrel roll pic was taken by either the right hand man or the flt eng...and the image you (we all) see was published with the neg flipped to show the orientation because most of the public would not be able to visually process Lake Washington on the ceiling....further I think it (barrel roll) was performed during the annual Lake Washington festival. You probably know more about it than my feeble memory has reclaimed!

On the other hand that '55 ramp shot at SFO is perfection. Sure am glad you have the archive!
