2006 Hangar Awards
The second annual awards show.

On March 19th 2007, Mark (IKONOS) kicked off our second annual awards show (after skipping 2005 due to personal issues) to determine the best model released in 2006. There were over 700 models released in '06, with lots of variety and new moulds so it was a tough choice. Below you will find out the winner for each brand.

After the Model of the Year Polling, we ran two furthur more polls to determine the "New Mould of the Year" and "Retailer of the Year", and announced the "Collector of the year"

And on April 30th 2007, with a whopping 2000 votes placed, the winners were decided by YOU, the collectors.

Retailer & Mould of The Year

Determined by the Hangar Crew, we decided on awarding the 2006 'Collector of the Year' award to Craig Hansen. For his tireless efforts to the Hangar Club card designs, his help with AeroClassics artwork, and his all around generosity throughout the online communities in our hobby.
